500 word evaluation

When it came to creating my final project, I really wanted produce something that I myself would enjoy using and something that would be marketed at someone like me. My final project is a click through prototype and web based home page for an app called GRLZ. The app is a fun quirky lifestyle app delivering new daily content providing gossip, horoscopes, fashion and beauty. In order to create this app and create content I took a lot of inspiration from brands such as Skinnydip, a fashion accessories brand which markets at the same target audience as mine. Depop an online market place, the layouts of their apps and home page based website and also from social media platforms as seeing other people produce fun content inspires me to create my own. Final App Prototype

 The video displays a black circle which would not be there when actually using the app it is just signifying that I have clicked to the viewer watching. There is also a black line seen in the video on the right-hand side when the pages are changing this again is just a boarder from the Axure preview page and is not in any way apart of my app. The video does not show the app in the clearest of quality but again this is just in the video, when using the app live in the Axure RP file which will be submitted the app quality is 100%.

Remaking website due to issues

After playing around with Wix trying to fix the issues I had in terms of extra space, I decided to try a different layout as it was very time consuming and I feared I was almost wasting time in which could be used to add finishing touches to the app and blog posts. With this being said, I chose a new layout and filmed the process of myself creating a new webpage implementing all typography, colour schemes and images. By making the decision to start again was at first very annoying but I am very happy with the result now that it I have my webpage looking how I wanted it too and user friendly for my target audience.
